Need to add some sparkle speedy quick?! Wreaths are a great way to spread cheer before anyone steps a foot through the door. Here are a few of my favorites you can whip up yourself for the holiday season.  

Poms away! With pom pom makers in a range of sizes, it's a fail-proof and festive project you can complete if you have a little bit of extra time for wrapping and trimming perfect poufs. Simply tie, wire or hot glue pom poms onto a basic wreath frame -- or if you're pinched for time purchase this one from Anthropologie! 

She's a Brick House : Lindsey Crafter's Biggest DIY Project Ever!

It's finally happened. Last month I FINALLY got my hands on an amazing property--complete with a charming 40's era house, separate studio/shop with a fireplace and wood floors, and several acres for gardens and goats. I've been experiencing idea-overwhelm over the past few months while waiting to move forward, but I can't wait to walk you through this house week by week and not only share my progress--but its unique history in my hometown.

For years I turned up my nose at plastic plants. Dust? Shiny leaves? YUCK. Luckily, the standard ficus + basket combo of office lobby nightmares are rarely in production and I'm seeing more and more convincing cacti and fiddle leaf figs. Interior Color Trends : How to Incorporate Lilac Into Your Home.

Years ago I lived in a three family home in a 2nd floor apartment. It was in a word "dated" with a faux sky light and orange wood floors, but it had some redeeming qualities like gorgeous wood pocket doors and a FANTASTIC lilac tub. Little did I know, but lilac would quickly replace blush and millennial pink on the home trends board. What's been most interesting is after working with this shade in a few spaces I'm recognizing it as an extremely versatile color that can create a lot of different moods - from quaint country cottage to modern glam. Painted Dresser Makeover: Tips and Tricks for Painting Thrifted Furniture

The saga continues! After a successful run of painting this ikea dresser a few years ago I decided not to press my luck and hadn't flipped a piece of furniture since. HOWEVER, when I got my hand on this free dresser with excellent drawers I was met with the opportunity to challenge myself to use an impossible color choice *gulp* purple. So yeah, violet is the color of the year--but every year we always bend the official color to more tolerable hues. In this case I think I can get away with a plum, wine or eggplant shade while still falling within the challenge boundaries. I picked a Sherwin Williams shade, Mature Grape , in a high-gloss door/trim paint. Here are some of my tips for painting furniture below!

Boho Cowgirl Bedroom Refresh for under $300!

This month has been nothing short of a RODEO of new projects, side hustles and adventures out west--but I was lucky to squeeze in a quick project for my sweet (and lil') friend Lola. Lola is a bona-fide cowgirl, but additionally creates amazing abstract acrylic pieces on canvas. She needed a "grown up" studio space with a desk and a refreshed look in her bedroom. I married rustic textures with bright patterns and bohemian motifs to create a simply styled space she can create and rest in! Check out the full flip below! P.S. We did it all for under $300.

A $30 Target Hack That Transformed my Closet

The second I saw this pink kilim style placemat at Target I KNEW it could live another life as a trendy Anthro-style pillow instead.
