Winter Wreath Round Up

Need to add some sparkle speedy quick?! Wreaths are a great way to spread cheer before anyone steps a foot through the door. Here are a few of my favorites you can whip up yourself for the holiday season.

Poms away! With pom pom makers in a range of sizes, it's a fail-proof and festive project you can complete if you have a little bit of extra time for wrapping and trimming perfect poufs. Simply tie, wire or hot glue pom poms onto a basic wreath frame -- or if you're pinched for time purchase this one from Anthropologie

A great Martha Stewart project with paper doilies -- how cute would this be with dip-dyed doilies?

This Anthropologie wreath is out of stock...but a DIY version could be fashioned from large glitter, spray adhesive and a twig wreath.

This olive branch wreath by Shades of Blue Interiors is an absolute dream...I've seen similar brass bells available at stores like World Market

Needle felting enthusiasts will LOVE tackling this chickadee wreath project originally sold by Anthropologie...how cute are the little berries and acorns!

I love ornament wreaths...make your own with this great tutorial on Martha Stewart's website. I've also seen larger versions made with plastic ornaments on a pool noodle wreath for a larger, outdoor friendly wreath.

Magnolia wreaths are a perfect alternative to fir/spruce wreaths and are easy to spray paint if you want a touch of metallic on your door.

Forage for fresh greenery in your backyard or in the scrap pile at your local Christmas tree stand. Craft a few wreaths and drop in front of a large picture window with jewel toned ribbons! Original source not credited.

I love this alternative shape and symbol... it could easily be made from felt leaves to reuse year after year!

This felt wreath could be a quick and easy DIY.  Image found on Decorator's Notebook, photo by Dreamy Whites.

Mollie Makes WON the wreath making contest with this adorable Partridge in a Pear Tree Wreath.
